The Laramie Project

On October 6, 1998 a young man named Matthew Shepard was lured away from a bar in Laramie, Wyoming by two men. They beat him, tied him to a fence, beat him again, and left him to die there because he was gay...
Soon after, a theatre group from New York called Tectonic Theatre Project, travelled to Laramie and conducted over 200 interviews with the people of the town and created a play from those interviews describing hate, homosexuality, and Matthew.

The Laramie Project will be performed by members of the Hinsdale Central Drama Group as well as faculty members of Hinsdale Central High School on November 16th and 18th at 7:30 and November 17th at 4:00 and at 7:30. There will be a special preview performance on the 15th at 7:30 with tickets at half price.
There is limited seating (only 130 seats a night), so reservations are recommended. To reserve tickets call (1-630) 570-8165.

ATTENTION: Saturday is SOLD OUT, and the other shows are selling pretty fast too.  Please reserve a ticket and be on time because otherwise we can't guarentee that you'll be able to see this great show.
Keep Smiling,
